Preparing for your Parryscope fertility testing appointment
Patients should have testing for potential sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) before their evaluation to reduce the risk of spreading an existing infection.
We also will work with each patient to optimize their cycle before her appointment. Progesterone or birth control pills may be prescribed if needed. (Of note, despite internet myths, a few weeks of birth control pills does not meaningfully slow fertility and in fact, can increase the chance of twins after stopping!)
